I guess I’m a poet (if you consider these poems).  They definitely don’t follow the formulas we learned in high school, but at the same time, it’s not that vague modern crap either.  It’s really just me; that’s the best explanation.

Why poetry?

It was a combination of the poetry anthology “Good Poems” (made me like poetry) and Dr Newell’s creative writing class which forced me to write my first poem.  He wrote things with exclamation marks next to the poems I turned in, which made me feel all special inside.
